Pet Detection

With Livy Protect's pet detection, false alarms from pets in the household can be reduced when the motion sensor is armed. 

The pet detection can be adjusted during the installation process or subsequently in the device settings.

There are the options "Small" for cats and small dogs, and the option "Large" for pets over 25 kg. Depending on the selection, the sensitivity of the motion detector is automatically adjusted.

Important note: The pet function is designed for occasional movement of pets under the motion sensor. If the pet is in the same room or constantly under the motion sensor for a long time, there is a chance that the alarm will be triggered anyway. Therefore, we recommend that Livy Protect be placed in a place in the household where the pet only passes by but is not permanently present, such as the front door.
